Pousada da Vila occupies a special place. The inn is found in the charming Igatu square, and is surrounded by orchards and gardens. There is a swimming pool to refresh yourself (a former washing basin) and views of the Andarai valley and the Paraguaçu river!
The building, which was renovated in 2010, was the home of some of the most important personalities of the 19th century diamond industry in Igatu.
We have 3 rooms with external bathrooms, 3 suites, and a living room and large garden. Hammocks and chairs surround the pool.
Pousada da Vila is great as a base for exploring the region: Grutas Azul and Encantada (the Azure and Enchanting Caves), the Pati valley, the rampa do Caim (the Caim Rise), and so on. You can also stay to enjoy a rest for a few days.
